Tags Card For Stampin For The Weekend

Hi everyone, I’m so sorry for not posting much lately. It’s the Wimbledon  Tennis Grand Slam this two weeks (ending this Sunday) and I’ve been schooling in the morning and watching tennis in the afternoons!

I still had time to make a card for the Stampin For The Weekend card making challenge though!
The theme for this fortnight’s challenge is........
Tags!!!
Either make a tag or use tags on a card/creation!
We are being sponsored by 2 sponsors this time, Simon Says Stamp AND Pink Gem Designs. Thank you so much!

I decided to use tags on a card:

This is also a card for my little brother Daniel who turns 4 next month.
I used one of Pink Gem Designs’ images since they are sponsoring us.
I coloured it with the following Copics:
E53, Y15, Y11 and Y00 - for the little tiger’s body.
R20 and R21 - for his little nose and feet.
G17, G14 and G12 - for the green leaves at the back.
W3 - for a shadow around the stamp.
I arranged a few tags with ribbons all over the card.
On one of the tags I stamped “Sun-Shine Happiness”, the little Tiger seems to remind me of sunshine.
This is the inside of the card.

Please hop over to Stampin for the Weekend and see if you can take part in our challenge! There are also some lovely other DT cards that you’ll love.

Have a blessed weekend everyone

I made this card for my brother Josua, who’s birthday is next week (24th of August). Josua is turning 11 and he totally loves to play (anything), so I think this card fits him well.

I stuck a piece of ribbon though the middle of the card and made a knot with it on the right hand side.

I also payed around with some buttons in the corners.
I wrote “Lekker Verjaar!!!” which means Happy Birthday in Afrikaans and put it on the right hand side of the image.
I will post some pictures of Josua’s birthday after next week!
