Have A Blessed Easter!

Hello everyone, just a short post to say............
I hope you all have a blessed Easter!!!
Here is a card I made for Easter with a model of three crosses we made in the background.

I used a digi stamp from Sweet N Sassy stamps and printed John 3:16 as sentiment.

The little ones (Danika 7yrs, Andrew 5yrs, David 4yrs and Daniel 2yrs) did two Easter activities the past few weeks.

Three crosses, symbolizing Jesus’s crucifixion and an Easter Garden, to represent the garden were Jesus was buried in the new tomb and was raised from on the third day.

Danika planting her plant.
(left to right) Josua (age 10) the assistant, Daniel (age 2), David (age 4), Danika (age 7) and Andrew (age 5) at there garden.

The crosses and the garden.

Do remember that Easter is not just about bunnies and eggs, BUT most important about Jesus!! He died on the cross for all our sins and that is what Easter is all about! I’m not saying we should not have any easter eggs or bunnies, I’m only saying, do you know what it is really about? You can go and read some more on my mothers blog here.

I hope you all have a very blessed Easter weekend!

Time for Tots Activity At Beautiful Girlhood

Hello everyone!
Today I’m posting a “Time for Tots Activity” post to enter the draw at Beautiful Girlhood blog! My dear friend Kelly-Anne is having a draw on activities for toddlers. She posts a post every week with an activity for toddlers and if you have an idea, post it on your blog and stand a chance to be one of the top five favorite tots activities!
Since I also have many little siblings, I thought to give it a shot!

Painting eggs for Easter!
What you will need:
Real eggs as many as you like
A needle or something thin and sharp to make holes in the eggs without breaking the egg.
Different colors of crafting paint.
A paint brush
Preparations
You need to make two holes in the egg. One at the top and one at the bottom with a needle.
Now you must blow on the one hole in the egg. Egg will come out at the other side.
Then the little ones can get started! (let them wear an apron or old clothes)
Give every one a paint brush and egg and some paint and let them paint!
The older toddlers from about age 4 and up can paint patterns with different colours and the younger ones only one or two colors. You still need to supervise and help the younger ones! Here are some pictures:

Daniel (age 2) painting his egg!

David (age 4) He isn’t board here, he just always likes to pull funny faces when we take pictures of him!!

Andrew (age 5) painting his egg.

Danika (age 7)

Josua (age 10) also wanted to try it out!
From left to right Danika, David, Daniel and Andrew enjoying themselves!
While his brothers and sisters painted theire beautiful eggs.........

Michael pretended to wet the garden just like mommy!

Isn’t he just so cute!!
Please do hop over to my dear friends’ blog and give her a few ideas of the tots activity you do with your little ones! For more information go here.
Have a blessed week

Easter Card for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge

Hello everyone, I do hope you're all well. Today I would like to show you a guest DT card I made for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge. I won their challenge a while ago and they asked me if I would like to be a GDT!

So their challenge for this week is...........
EASTER
And here is the card I made for there challenge:

The little basket on the side, we brought at a crafting shop the other day and I though it fit perfectly with this card!

I used a very cute digital stamp from Lilly of the Valley and colored it with the following Copics:

RV34, RV32 and RV0 - for the little pink bunny
G17, G14 and G12 - for the little green bunny and the grass
Y15, Y11 and Y00 - for the little yellow bunny
B05, B02 and B000 - for the little blue bunny
W3 - around the stamp for a shadow
I know bunnies aren’t really colored, BUT when my mother was little she said there were Easter Shows in her birth town and every year the people would sell real live bunnies colored blue, pink, green etc.
So you DO get bunnies that are colored!!

I wrote Easter Fun as a sentiment and stuck it in the top left corner.

In the top right corner and in the bottom left corner I stuck a corner with three different sized yellow pearls.

I put a piece of ribbon in the middle of the card and made a bow on the left side. I added a little yellow pearl in the middle of the bow.

In the bottom right hand corner, I put a basket colored it with my copics and glazed with “Royal Coat Dimensional Magic.” I also stuck a little yellow pearl on this bow.

Here is a picture of real, little basket I decorated. I made a bow with the same ribbon I used on the card.

So this is my card! Please do hop over to Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge and take a look at their great challenge!!

I stuck the image on a doily that I distressed with a dark pink.

I bought 2 light brown cardboard eggs and colored it with my copics.
Then I glazed it with “Royal Coat Dimensional Magic.”
I stuck a beautiful piece of lace with a light pink dotted ribbon on top, at the bottom of the card.
