Tea Time - Book Mark

Hello everyone, I know I have not been posting for a while!
But some of the things I’m making at the moment is for my mother’s Birthday (22 Feb) and I can’t post that or else my mother will see it!
But here is a bookmark I made for myself!!
First time I’m making something for myself

I like it because it’s different from a normal bookmark.
It fits over the corner of your book. You can go and look at the tutorial on how to make one here.

This is how you put it in your book. It fits over the corner of the page!

This is what the back of the page looks like when you turn the page over.

I used an old digi stamp and colored it with my Copics........ Yes I said Copics!
My brand new Copics that I bought from a friend, here in South Africa!
This is my first creation with them!! So here is the colors I used:
E37, E35, E33 and E53 - for the mouse’s skin and the chair.
RV34, RV32, RV00 - for the top part of the Mouse’s dress and the bottom part of the cupcake.
RV13, RV11 and RV10 - for the mouse’s dress, tee cup, tee pot, flower and the snail’s back.
Y00 - for the flower pot.
B000 - for the water in the flower pot.
E00, E21, R20 - for the snail’s skin
G17, G14 and G12 - for the table cloth and flower leaves.
W3 - for the shadow around the image.

I used my heart puncher to make a pretty border at the bottom of my bookmark.

Here is the back of the book mark.

I used some pretty ribbon and lace with a nice sparkly rose paper.
I would also like to enter this book mark into the following challenges:

Monochrome Card For Stampin for the Weekend Challenge

Hello everyone! It’s Friday and time for a new challenge over at Stampin for the Weekend! And this week I hosted the challenge!!
Before I announce the new challenge, please go check out the challenge blog, and see if maybe you made the top 3 or is the winner of the last challenge! (St Valentine’s day)
Now for this bi-weekly challenge:
Monochrome!!!
We would like to see you make a card/project in monochrome - (which is tones of one colour.)
So
Now here is my card for this challenge:

I think it’s the first blue card I made for a lady!
All the other blue cards I made have been for men! This card is for a special friend of mine who’s birthday is coming up soon!!

I used a stamp a friend sent me, long, long ago. Already stamped on paper and I could just colour it!
I used my Copics to colour her:
E37, E 35, E33 and E53 - for her hair
E00, E21 and R20 - for her skin
Y15, Y11 and Y00 - for the bow in her hair, her top, bottom strip of her dress and her shoes
B05, B02 and B00 - for all the blue on the image
W3 - for a shadow around the image.

I used blue gems to give the card some spark,
and used the tool a friend gave me, to make the swirls!

I wrote “Happy Birthday” in a dark blue and stuck it on ‘n pop-up.

I stuck a blue dotted ribbon with a pearl buckle at the bottom on the right side of the card.

Here is a close up picture of the pearl buckle.
Please do hop over to Stampin for the Weekend and take part in our challenge. You also must go and see the stunning DT creations!

On Thursday night I received an e-mail from a friend saying that I must please check out her blog as she had something for me............
I went and I found myself being one of her 5 blogs to which she wants to give this award!
Dear Margaret thank you SO SO SO much for thinking of me.
You really are a special friend!!!
I accept the award!
So the aim for this award is to give it to 3-5 blogs you have visited that are relatively unknown and bring them to light (no blogs with thousands of followers already)
So what do I have to do?
First: Create a blog post showing your award and say you accept it. - Done!
Second : Say who gave the award and link back to them - Done!
Third : Link to 3-5 of your favorite blogs and let them know about the award - Done!
Here is the following blogs to which I want to give this award:

Paola is a very special friend of mine!
When I need card making and colouring advice, Paola is always ready to help me. I also bought my copics from her! She helped me so much by ordering the right colors. I’m very encouraged by her blog too.
