Stampin For The Weekend Card - Show Us Your Style

Hi everyone, it’s time for a new challenge over at Stampin for the Weekend!
The theme for this fortnight’s challenge is:
Show Us Your Style!
We are being sponsored by The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop, who is offering the winner 600 Self adhesive pearls in various colours as prize!
Here is my card:
It’s my Dad’s Father’s Day card! Normally girly cards are more my style, but even though this is a masculine card, it’s still my style. I love using ribbon, pearls, Whiff Of Joy images and always distress.
This is the first time I’ve used this image(it’s been lying in my stamp box for a while now!) and I coloured it with the following Copics:
E35, E33 and E53 - For the Mouse’s skin.
R20, R21 and E00 - For his ears, tummy, feet and tail.
B05, B02 and B000 - For his hat.
E37, E35 andE33 - For the log he sits on.
B000, E53 and W3 - For the rocks.
R29, Y15, Y11 and Y00 - For the fire.
W3 - For a shadow around the stamp.
I made a loop with this ribbon and tied it together with a knot and then stuck a pearl on top.
And that same ribbon with the knot and pearl on the inside.
I put a golden corner in the top left corner for a finishing touch.
And a few pearls in some of the other corners.
I hope you like my card! Please hop over to Stampin for the Weekend and see if you can take part in our challenge, there are also some stunning other cards!

Bugs and Butterflies Card For Stampin For The Weekend

Hi everyone, I forget to post my card yesterday! It’s Danika and Andrew’s birthday party today and we where all sick this past week, so I simply lost track of the time. But it’s time for a new challenge over at Stampin For The Weekend.
The theme for this fortnights challenge is:
Bugs and Butterflies!!
We are being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and Bugaboo Images!
Here is my example:

I made this card for my sister Danika who is turning 9 years old on the 14th of June.
I used one of my older Whiff of Joy Stamps that reminds me of her. I coloured it with the following Copics:
E35, E33 and E53 - For the girl’s hair.
R20, R21 and E00 - For her skin.
G14 and G12 - For her green blouse.
RV13, RV11 and RV10 - For her light pink skirt.
RV19 and RV34 - For the dark pink flowers on her skirt.
Y15, Y11 and Y00 - For the yellow.
W3 - For a shadow around the stamp.
I added a few butterflies at the top of the card.
And bees to the bottom.
This is what the inside of the card looks like!
Hope you like it!

Moldings And Fillings Chocolate Course.

On Wednesday my mother and I did the Mouldings and Fillings Lindt Chocolate Course and I would like to show you some of the photos!
Me polishing the molds.
Me, spraying the mould with a paint brush, under Scott’s supervision.

The decorated moulds.

Filling the moulds with chocolate.

Chocolate Rain!
An extra creamy ganache made from chocolate, condensed milk and Amarula liqueur used as a filling, YUM!

Chocolate!
Me Piping.

This one looks like it has a heart on!
They boxed all the chocolates we made during the class, so my mother and I had lots of chocolates to take home!
My mother took this picture of me and I just love it!
We had such a great time, if you like being creative in the kitchen, I highly recommend you do one of the Lindt Chocolate courses, it’s SO much fun!
Thank you so much to the Cape Town Lindt Chocolate Team for making it such a great experience!
And thank you so much mom, for doing this with me!
Chocolate Greetings
