Welcome Baby Card – For a Girl

 

 Hello everyone.

Today I made a card for a friend of my Mom who had her 5th girl on Monday morning.

My mother always likes taking a meal for a family who has a newborn baby.

The friend’s parents will stay with them till tomorrow morning, so we shall take them food tomorrow evening and this card will accompany the meal:

I have to admit pink and green are my favourite colours!

Here is the Sugar Bowl Challenge sketch

I used one of my Sugar Nellie stamps and put some glitter on the yellow flower on the pram, on the girl’s patch on her pants, some on the dots of her top and on the ribbons in her hair.

Here I used lace that my mother used on my clothes. I put a strip at the bottom of my card, with a thin, dark, pink ribbon at the top of the lace, and finished it off with a cute little bow.

I made two Scallops one out of pink and one of stripes.

I stacked them on top of each other and then on a pop-up.

I stuck a doily distressed with pink at the back of the scallops.

Here I wrote ‘Sweet Baby’, cut it out and stuck it on a pop-up under the image.
