Birthday Card For My Dad And DT Card For Stampin For The Weekend.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I had a very busy week so far! We are having friends staying in our home for a few days next week, so we gave our house a spring-clean. Yesterday my mother was washing the walls where my little brothers made a mess over the past few months, with their little dirty hands. As she came up from her knees she bumped her head against a cupboard, and there was blood everywhere! Luckily all of us children where there to help her and stopped the bleeding with in seconds with a herb from our garden, called Yarrow. We had to call my dad from work to help us close the wound  with Mazena (corn flour) and bandages. We never get stitches, as it makes a mark later. “Mazena” works best! We ordered my mother to stay in bed the rest of the day. (Something she really struggles to do!) We also washed the carpets on Tuesday and lots of de-cluttering over the week. A busy week, as you can see, cleaning our home and playing nurse!

But now on to Card Making!! Today I would like to show you a birthday card I made for my dad for his birthday which was on the 1st of October. I also used it as a DT card for Stampin for the Weekend.
The theme is..........
Autumn Colours!!
I’m starting to really like making masculine cards... what can you expect with 7 men in our home!

And using digi stamps! This is a digi stamp is from Meljens Designs called Beavers Blueprints and I colored him with the following Copics:
E37, E35, E33 and E53 - for the beaver’s skin/fur.
G17, G14 and G12 - for his hat
R21 and E00 - for the hammer’s bottom part and for the piece of paper in his hand.
Y15, Y11 and Y00 - for the ruler
B05, B02 and B000 - for the screwdriver
W3 - for the shadow around the stamp.

I made a knot with two different ribbons and stuck it on the left side of the card. Also decorated it with a few brown pearls.
Please hop over to Stampin for the Weekend and see if you can take part in our challenge!

I would also like to take part in the following challenges with this card:
