Today I have another card to show you. Wow two weeks went by so quick. It’s time for a new challenge at Stampin for the Weekend!
The theme for this fortnightly challenge is...............
Spots & Dots!!
You can use anything with spots or dots on it!
Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp, who is kindly offering the winner a $20 voucher!
I really like polkadot paper and I found some nice ones for my card:
Such bright and pretty colours, I just love it!!
E37, E35, E33 and E53 - for her hair.
R20, R21 and E00 - for her skin.
RV34, RV13 and RV10 - for her dress and flowers in her hair.
B05, B02 and B000 - for the blue dots on her dress and her shoes.
Y15, Y11 and Y00 - for the flowers in her hand.
G17, G14 and G12 - for the leaves of the flowers in her hands.
W3 - for a shadow around the stamp.
In the top right corner I added three flowers that I bought from Wild Orchid Crafts.
These are miniature blue and pink polkadot buttons. Yes I said buttons!!! I’m starting to like working with buttons. Thanks to the DT’s I had no choice but to use buttons!!! They are also from Wild Orchid Craft.
I stuck a blue polkadot ribbon, that a dear friend sent me for my birthday, with a pearl buckle at the bottom of the card.
Please go to Stampin for the Weekend and see if you can take part in our Spots and Dots challenge!!
